MY GOAL

A little about myself…



My name is LaRysa Marietta and I am a photographer in Terre Haute, Indiana. I have had a life-long love of art and have been a professional artist for many years. I currently teach art to Pre-K and elementary aged children in a local private school. I LOVE teaching kids that they were made to be creative by the most Creative One of all! I’m married with three great kids and couldn’t do what I do without the support and encouragement of my family! I enjoy drawing in graphite and colored pencil and paint in acrylic including wall murals. The subject matter of my work is expressive, honest, emotional and most often inspirational. While I enjoy all of these mediums there is none I love more than photography. I believe that a photograph should be no less a work of art than any other medium. I feel my photography, like the above mentioned art forms, is expressive, honest, emotional and fun!



My goal…



I love photographing everything from babies to weddings, seniors to couples and all that’s in between. My goal is to offer truly unique, artistic images that capture and reflect the emotions of the moment. The expectation and anticipation of a pregnancy, the love between a parent and child or the passions and joys of a wedding day. I believe that a picture should not merely document these occasions, but tell your unique story. My mission is to create expressive pictures that are not only worth a thousand words, but express all the feeling that there are no words for.

I feel blessed to be able to do what I LOVE every day and I’m thankful for the opportunities I have to do them. One of the best parts of my job is meeting lots of wonderful people and I look forward to meeting you!
